Hi! I’m Jennifer Kordic, REALTOR® with Pearson Smith Realty and founder of Jennifer Kordic Homes. Guiding my clients as they navigate the exciting, time-consuming, and sometimes downright nerve-wracking process of buying or selling a home is a great source of pride and fulfillment for me. Previously, I worked as a corporate attorney. My legal background in combination with my approachable demeanor put me in a unique position as a real estate agent, providing me with the tools to negotiate for my clients effectively and handle complications smoothly.

Coming from humble beginnings, I grew up in small-town Ohio. I attended a local university, earning a B.A. in Communication Studies. Following graduation, I packed up my car and made the intimidating drive from Ohio to Texas, where I attended law school at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. From the bottom of the totem pole, I spent the next decade working my way up the corporate ladder. For the final five years of that decade, I served as the sole in-house legal counsel for a Dallas-based energy company valued at over $2 billion. During this time, I honed the skills that help me succeed today. I managed numerous client relationships simultaneously, met critical deadlines, wrote contracts clearly and concisely, collaborated with rivaling attorneys in pursuit of my client’s objectives, resolved contentious disputes, and, most importantly, obtained the best value I could for my client.

Upon relocating to Northern Virginia, I sought to use my legal background in a more people-focused way. I discovered residential real estate to be the sweet spot, merging my obsession over details with my passion for helping others. Now I get to do everything I do behind the scenes to help my clients achieve their real estate objectives, whether it’s selling that first investment property, or reaching for the stars to buy that perfect home reflected on all their Pinterest boards.

Whatever your circumstances, when you’re buying or selling a home, stress happens. There’s a lot of money, not to mention emotion, on the line. Sometimes, things get complicated. This is where my expertise shines the brightest. As my client, no matter the highs or lows, you will always know exactly what is happening and what the next step will be. My colleagues and I will hold your hand the whole way through, ensuring nothing gets missed, beginning at our initial meeting, all the way through to closing, and beyond!

Besides serving my amazing clients, I like to dabble in a variety of fun hobbies. You can typically find me traveling to new destinations (New Zealand has been my favorite so far!), nerding out on art and architecture, visiting one of the 40+ local wineries in Loudoun County, and managing my “celebrity” cat’s Instagram account. I live in Ashburn, Virginia with my husband, Scott, and my teenage step-kids, Jason and Ava.
