I truly love the Capital area, and I extend that enthusiasm to all of my clients. A Northern Virginia native, I graduated from The Madeira School in McLean, and earned my Graduate Degree at American University in D.C.
As a Mother of Twins, I’m involved as a Board Member with the Loudoun Fairfax Mothers of Multiples Club. I’m also an avid outdoor enthusiast: hiking, biking, camping and exploring the natural beauty of Virginia with my husband, kids & German Shepherds.
A true “people person,” my favorite part of being a REALTOR®at The Platinum Group at Pearson Smith Realty is the opportunity to become acquainted with so many interesting people and help them realize their goals. I respect the fact that your transaction isn’t like any other – unless you’re an investor, your home is where you live and raise your family. Maintaining a sense of empathy for the emotion that goes into buying or selling a home could be the reason why so many of my clients are now my friends.
As one client put it: “She can answer or get an answer for any question you have during this process and educate you along the way. She knows the business like the back of her hand and doesn’t take no for an answer. YOU are her top priority. She is quick to answer your phone calls, emails and any question you may have (no matter how silly it seems).”
I have a rich history in real estate- as an award winning top producer at The Dwellus Group/Keller Williams, at Coldwell Banker as a Top 10% team and as an individual; co-owning a Dulles area brokerage with a substantial investment portfolio which specialized in rehabbing distressed homes.
I also developed an in depth understanding of the corporate relocation process from working with a top ranked and Nationally Certified Relocation Broker during the height of the real estate market. I’ve been featured in The Washingtonian Magazine in their Top Real Estate Agents edition, and also featured on Fox 5 as a local area expert. In Arlington I opened a branch office for a local firm that helped me learn more about the unique offerings and hidden gems in the Potomac Rivercorridor.
Starting in new construction sales in 2000, my fundamental knowledge came from learning how to build a house from the ground up. This is extremely useful in every transaction, but even more so with new construction purchases, tear down and rebuilds, and custom home building that are increasingly common in our area.
My belief is that knowledge of today’s market leads to good decisions. When clients know what to expect at each step it makes the entire experience of buying & selling a home more enjoyable for everyone.
